Posie Brien

Posie Brien is an award-winning writer and editor working on her debut children’s book. She grew up on a farm in northern Maryland and graduated from Princeton University before beginning a career in food writing. Her 15-year career in food media includes work as an editor, cookbook author, and copywriter for companies like Food52 and King Arthur Baking Company. She co-wrote King Arthur’s IACP-nominated cookbook, The King Arthur Baking School, and is also the author of the award-winning fiction/food blog 600 Acres, which marries original stories and recipes. Posie lives in Virginia with her family, and spends her days writing, baking, and exploring the outdoors with her two young sons.
