b.t. gottfred is a screenwriter, producer, director, playwright, and young adult novelist. His series of interconnected contemporary novels include Forever for a Year, The Nerdy and the Dirty (chosen by BookRiot as one of 50 Must-Read YA Novels of the past decade), and The Handsome Girl and Her Beautiful Boy. As a playwright, his work is critically-acclaimed and has had runs in Los Angeles, Chicago and off-Broadway in New York. He has written, directed, and produced numerous digital series and feature films. With Corey Moss, he is the co-founder of the production company Bold Soul Studios. He lives in Los Angeles with his family.
