Andy Malpica is an illustrator from Mexico City who loves to imagine worlds for a living and tell the wonderful stories that happen in them. She recently completed her MA in Children’s Book illustration at the Cambridge School of Art, where she learned to play with different types of media and discovered new ways to draw. Nature is an important part of Andy’s practice, and it is a constant resource where she draws inspiration for her illustrations. Her heart has always been interested in sustainability and animals and their behavior, particularly their curiosity, their light hearted approach to life and their bonds with human beings. You can usually find her seeking new adventures with her partner and three dogs: Nina, Babas and Nugget.
