Charlotte Gunnufson

Charlotte Gunnufson is the author of two picture books, Prince and Pirate, which received a starred review from Kirkus, and Halloween Hustle. Her forthcoming picture books are Dream Submarine (Candlewick, 2024) and School Spirits (Atheneum, 2026). Her poems have appeared in the Cricket and Highlights family of magazines and she is a four-time recipient of Highlights Pewter Plate award. Charlotte holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s of Arts degree in Teaching.

Julia McCarthy at Atheneum has bought North American rights to School Spirits by Charlotte Gunnufson and illustrated by Rebecca Crane.
