Elnora Gunter is an author of contemporary, contemporary romance, contemporary fantasy, horror, and speculative fiction mainly in the young adult space but also writes select genres in adult and short stories. No matter the age group or label, her stories will always include love, family dynamics, the weight of decision-making and a thread of hope. Her short stories “Food for the Soul” was published in FIYAH Literary Magazine (Issue 23: Food and Culture) and “Healer of Herself” will be in Midnight and Indigo Magazine’s forthcoming speculative and horror fiction issue (October 2023). She received a BA in English from LSU (Geaux Tigers!). When she’s not spinning tales, Elnora spends her days breaking down prose and literature to teenagers, binge-watching entirely too much TV, and cooking with her husband. She lives in southern Louisiana but spent her early childhood in New England and Appalachia.
