Julie Chibbaro is the author of three novels for teens: Into the Dangerous World, a Junior Library Guild Selection that was nominated for numerous state awards; Deadly, winner of the National Jewish Book Award and a Bank Street Best Book; and Redemption, winner of the American Book Award. She has taught workshops for the Gotham Writers Workshop and The Highlights Foundation, and has written for The Prague Post, The Montreal Gazette, Hudson Valley Magazine, and many other outlets. She lives with her family in Beacon, New York, where she founded Get Lit Beacon, a reading series and literary salon.
