Pavonis Giron is an author/illustrator with a love of bold colors and a taste for exploration, whether that be in the great outdoors or between city blocks. Their debut picture book, A Rainbow in Brown, was published by Henry Holt in March 2024, to be followed by Angel Draws a Dinosaur in 2025 and a third, currently untitled project, in 2026. Currently based in Milwaukee, Pavonis grew up amongst the sun-bleached rocks of the Mojave Desert which still inspire their work today. In addition to writing and illustrating books for children, Pavonis has also worked in product and game design.
