Rosina Lippi

Rosina Lippi is a former academic and the author of over a dozen books of fiction and scholarly work. Her critically acclaimed debut novel, Homestead, won the PEN/Hemingway Award and was shortlisted for the UK’s prestigious Orange Prize. She also wrote two later novels, Tied to the Tracks and The Pajama Girls of Lambert Square, as Rosina Lippi. As Sara Donati, she is the author of the Wilderness series of novels, which has over a million copies in print. The series comprises six novels: Into the Wilderness, Dawn on a Distant Shore, Lake in the Clouds, Fire Along the Sky, Queen of Swords, and The Endless Forest. She wrote two additional books, The Gilded Hour and Where the Light Enters, that are set in the same historical fiction universe. Her latest novel, The Sweet Blue Distance, is a historical epic set in the American West and was released in April 2024. She lives on Puget Sound with her family.
