Putnam Children’s has acquired rights to a young reader’s edition of American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Martin J. Sherwin and Kai Bird. The 2005 biography won a Pulitzer and was adapted by Christopher Nolan for his summer blockbuster Oppenheimer. Eric S. Singer, an educator and historian, will adapt. Publication is planned for Summer 2025.
