St. Martin’s Press has bought, at auction, a new book from Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg. Evolving from her successful newsletter and website of the same name, Life is a Sacred Text is currently slated for publication in 2027.
Ruttenberg’s latest work, On Repentance And Repair: Making Amends in an Unapologetic World, won the the National Jewish Book Award for Contemporary Jewish Life and Practice and was named ALA Sophie Brody Honor Book. She is also the author of Mend the World: Spiritual Tools for Healing, Repair, and Justice, Nurture the Wow: Finding Spirituality in the Frustration, Boredom, Tears, Poop, Desperation, Wonder, and Radical Amazement of Parenting (a National Jewish Book Award finalist), Surprised by God: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Religion, and The Passionate Torah: Sex and Judaism
