Berkley has bought a new adult love story from Jesse Q. Sutanto in a two-book deal. The second title on the deal will be a sequel to Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers, which was published in March 2023. Both books are currently slated for publication in 2025.
Sutanto is the author of the nationally bestselling Dial A for Aunties series; the third and final installment in the series, The Good, The Bad, and the Aunties will be released in March 2024. Her debut thriller for adults, I’m Not Done With You Yet, was published by Berkley in August 2023. She is also the author of numerous books for young readers, including two books in the Theo Tan series, Well, That Was Unexpected and Didn’t See That Coming.
