Putnam Young Readers won a six-house auction for rights to The Escape Game, a new YA novel co-written by #1 New York Times bestselling author Marissa Meyer and Tamara Moss. The Escape Game will be published in April 2026, with a sequel to follow in 2027.
Meyer is the #1 bestselling author of The Lunar Chronicles series, Heartless, the Renegades trilogy, Instant Karma, the Gilded duology, With a Little Luck, Serendipity: Ten Romantic Tropes, Transformed (ed.), Let It Glow (co-written with Joanne Levy), and The Happy Writer. Moss is the author of the Lintang series of middle grade novels, and also writes adult fiction under the name Tamara M. Bailey.
