Sourcebooks Jabberwocky has acquired the debut picture book from Alda P. Dobbs. The book, illustrated by Emily Mendoza, is slated for release in Fall 2025.
Dobbs is the author of the middle grade novels Barefoot Dreams of Petra Luna, recipient of a Pura Belpre Honor, and The Other Side of the River, winner of the Northern Lights Book Award.
