Little Brown Children’s has bought a new middle grade novel written by Wendy Mass and Nora Raleigh Baskin. Publication for The Planet, The Portal, and a Pizza is planned for Fall 2025.
Baskin’s previous novels include Anything But Typical (winner of the ALA Schneider Family Book Award), What Every Girl (Except Me) Knows, The Truth About My Bat Mitzvah, The Summer Before Boys, Ruby on the Outside, and Nine, Ten: A September 11 Story. With Gae Polisner, she is the co-author of Seven Clues to Home and Consider the Octopus.
