This prestigious award is presented annually to outstanding books for children and teens that authentically portray the Jewish experience. The award was announced this morning at ALA Midwinter in Philadelphia, PA.
Someday We Will Fly has now won both esteemed awards for Jewish literature—the National Jewish Book Award and the Sydney Taylor Book Award. This is wonderful news and we are so pleased that this powerful book is being critically recognized.
